Mama Goose at Theatre Royal Stratford East

This year’s Stratford East panto is Mama Goose, a bold, hilarious take on the classic tale, packed with big laughs, original songs and a strong East London vibe.

Running from November 21, 2025 to January 3, 2026, the show follows local legend Mama Goose and her golden-egg-laying sidekick as they face fame, fortune and a few outrageous surprises.

Written and directed by Vikki Stone and Tonderai Munyevu, with music by Robert Hyman, the show stars Duane Gooden as Mama Goose, Charlie Cameron as AI Jill and Mya Fox-Scott as the Bougie Fierce Fairy.

Joining them are Jerome Lincoln as Katy Perry/Ensemble, Ellie Seaton as The Wholesome Thoughtful Fairy, Grace Venus as the Tax Man/Ensemble, Che Walker as Gary The Goose and Marcellus Whyte as Jack Goose.

Expect glitter, heart and a whole lot of cheeky fun. Stratford East pantos don’t play by the rules ‐ and that’s exactly why families keep coming back every Christmas.
