One of Liverpool’s biggest Christmas traditions is getting ready to return, with another magical family pantomime bringing a classic fairy tale to the stage this festive season.
Cinderella will take over The Auditorium at M&S Bank Arena Liverpool for Christmas 2026, with a star-studded cast led by Bippo as Buttons as he celebrates his 10th anniversary at the venue. Joining him are Strictly Come Dancing favourite Neil Jones as Prince Charming from 20 December, local internet star The Queen of Scotty Road as Dandini, Dominic Mattos as the Fairy Godmother, West End performers Orla Ridpath and Shelley Anne Rivers as the Ugly Sisters, and Rebecca Lake in the title role.
The timeless story follows Cinderella as she dreams of a better life and hopes to attend the royal ball, where she finally has the chance to meet Prince Charming. With plenty of help from Buttons and a little fairy magic, she’ll need to overcome the mischievous Ugly Sisters before the clock strikes midnight.
Expect everything you’d want from a festive pantomime, including spectacular songs, dazzling dance routines, colourful costumes and plenty of laughs for the whole family. If you’re already planning your Christmas theatre trip, this year’s biggest ball could be one to book early.
