Mother Goose at Mercury Theatre Colchester

Roll up, roll up for the greatest show on earth! The Mercury Theatre proudly presents Mother Goose, celebrating ten golden years of the hilarious duo Antony Stuart-Hicks and Dale Superville. Expect dazzling sets, spectacular costumes and plenty of side-splitting comedy in this eggs-traordinary festive treat.

Colchester’s Daisy Greenwood returns to the Mercury to star as Gracie Goose, ten years after appearing in the Junior Chorus and completing work experience at the theatre. She recently played Abigail Henson in Becoming Nancy at Birmingham Rep.

Joining her is Kemi Clarke (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Just So) as Bailey.

Mercury favourites Sasha Latoya (Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty) and Jaimie Pruden (Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty) return as Fairy Fortuna and Baroness Bellinora Badapple.

Also returning are Dee Dee Rivers and Nathan Rigg as Ensemble/Understudies, both former Junior Chorus members.

Completing the cast are Antony Stuart-Hicks (Best Dame, UK Pantomime Awards 2025) as Gertie Goose and Dale Superville (Fawlty Towers, Witness for the Prosecution) as Billy the Goose.
