Belgrade Theatre Announces Full Cast For Beauty And The Beast Panto

A classic fairy tale is heading back to the stage this Christmas, with the full cast now announced for Coventry’s annual pantomime.
And there are plenty of familiar faces returning to the Belgrade Theatre, alongside some performers making their debuts.
Beauty and the Beast will run from 18 November 2026 until 2 January 2027, with award-winning pantomime favourite Iain Lauchlan returning to write and direct the production. He’ll also appear on stage as Dame Dorothy Do-It.
Craig Hollingsworth will return for his fifteenth Belgrade pantomime, playing Willy-Do-It, while Sion Lloyd is back as The Beast. Lloyd previously played the same character at the theatre in 2009 and 2021, making this his third time taking on the role.
Making her professional stage debut as Belle is Abiola Falokun, while Dylan Andrews will play Gaston in his first Belgrade Theatre production. Morna Macpherson joins the cast as The Enchantress, with David Gillbrook playing Belle’s father, Harold.
Aonghas Ewen will return to the theatre in the dual roles of the Prince and ensemble, while Alice Ellwood and Ayo Akande complete the company. Both will be making their Belgrade Theatre debuts as ensemble members.
The story follows Belle as she finds herself trapped inside a mysterious castle with a frightening Beast. But there’s more to him than she first realises, and only true love can break the spell that has changed his life.
Beauty and the Beast opens at the Belgrade Theatre on 18 November, with tickets already on sale.
